Expert Solution

My approach as a project manager will based on careful acknowledgement of the conflicts. I will not avoid or ignore the the situation and not to behave that nothing happened. I will ensure a proper discussion which also involve a effective listening of other ideas and opinions.

From the discussion i will find a point of agreement which will be fair to every one. As I am the project manager that is a leadership position I can mediate the work conflicts. This mediation should be fair not partial. My entire approach will be equally respectful towards different opinions. Every conflict among the team members should not be ignored or avoided but should be focused towards resolving it when it exceeds the healthy difference of opinion. As we know personality conflicts arises due to fundamental incompatibility in personalities and approach towards thingy and not due to conflicts over a particular issue.

My approach will be based on interpersonal intalligence and acknowledging hidden traits of personality of each other. It will involve a professional approved.Even when personality differences exist, if both parties remain professional, confrontation can be avoided.

I will empathize on acceptance strategy which is very helpful in defusing the personality conflicts as it involves empathy and understanding. Use of cooperative communication is also very helpful in resolving personality conflicts.
