Please share what leadership style your boss uses. (autocratic, democratic, laissez-faire). Give a few examples that demonstrate they use that style. Do you think the style they use is effective or should they be doing something different?
What style of leadership do you use if you are a manager, or would you use when you become a manager?
My boss is very popularly known as a democratic leader and in every aspect and attitude he lives to the same expectation. As a democratic leader he does the following in a workplace
1. As a democratic leader he involves everyone in a work or project and gives importance to everybody's opinion when required. This gives a sense of satisfaction to the employees as they also wholeheartedly involve themselves.
2. He distributes responsibility to all and makes them work for the same.
3. He motivates and inspires all through his honesty and integration at any given situation.
4. Even if something goes wrong at a certain point he tries to rectify instead of blaming others.
5. He involve all in decision making process by inviting their ideas.
This democratic style of my leader proved to be very fruitful and productive . He is friendly to all so that any issues regarding work can be easily and personally communicated with him. He is a trustworthy person overall.
I would like to follow him as an inspiration and adapt this leadership in future.
