TOPIC: Euthanasia and End of Life Decisions
There are 3 states in the United States in which euthanasia is legalized. This movement was started quite a few years ago and remains very controversial. The doctor to started this movement is currently in prison.
Think about your grandparents and parents.
1) Describe whether you do or do not think there should be an option for any individual to choose when and how to end their life?
2) Interview your parents or grandparents, or someone in late adulthood (age 60 or older), and ask them what they believe. Give a short synopsis of their response(s).
3) Formulate and describe your own opinion about euthanasia, whether it should be legalized in all states, and write about it. Cite why you agree or disagree with legalization.
