The Green HR is a term used for the all possible HR policies that will help the organization's environmental agenda. Use of Green HR will promote the sustainable use of resources on the organization in order to promote the environmental economic practice and to make the Eco friendly environment which keeps the healthier environment by improving the commitments on the problem of sustainability and increasing the employee awareness. The HR functions can also become the driver of the environmental sustainability within the industry by aligning the set of policies and the practice with sustainability objective which representing Eco friendly , which able to contribute the business goals. It includes undertaking the environmental friendly HR initiatives which result in : lower price and the good employee engagement and retention , maximize the efficiency with motivation. the Green HR initiative is the important factor in the future thinking business around the world. This HR policies will help business to find the alternative ways to cut cost without losing their important resources.

Nowadays there is a huge requirement of the Green HRM strategy- The Integration of the HRM and the environmental management is in the perspective of the increasing environmental pollution in the world. The HR professionals can encourage the employees to make them more environmental friendly at the work place by making use of policies. It means the companies can motivate their employees to perform activities such as powering down computer if the computer is inactive, early morning office time, using energy efficient bulbs, making double sided print outs these practices can be environmentally responsible practices in the beginning stage of the Green HR. The organization's also developing Environmental Management System, it is a tool used to gain the competitive advantage. This will help to provide the good control over the business environmental impact. It includes planning, implementation, policies, commitments, measurement and evaluation and also review and improvisation of HR functions that will suitable for organization long term goals and its culture.
