for any firm the customer play a vital role in survival as the market growth during the years the brand value and customer loyalty is the need. nowadays people getting smarter day by day which can be reflected in their judgment while producing the product. every person now days uses less time to think about a product because they have lots of option nowadays as the option increases the chance of loyalty decrease for them. people prefer less time-consuming things now days even if its related to food . as people spend 18 hours a day on social media, this platform become a major attraction among the companies to promote their product and attract the customers.
the best company which use the social media very wisely will gain the customers attraction I have taken an example of P&G company. this company not only influence the people towards their product but they also create a sense of awareness by their social media campaign. this company have a great history and serving more than 4 billion people, so they are working as a community. Pamper is one of there product where they showcase the mother-baby bond. this social media campaign is very much influencing because of its emotional content. they release several small videos which directly contains the customer emotionally and great a sense of attachment to the product.
there are several companies which fail the idea of social media usage, many times they try to adopt the idea but due to their content selection, they don't attract the target customers. even sometimes there campaign effect the image of the brand value because of its reverse effect. I have taken an example of dove where they have one campaign on Facebook "dove reaffirms eurocentric beauty norms" here they have shown a black girl change the t-shirt and turn into the white girl. this campaign is the related to the product but it turns out to be racist, it affects the brand value majorly and people file complaints about the company to hurt the sentiments of the black people.
social media provide the platform to connect lots of people at the same time and can get their feedback instantly, so a company use this information to correct it values and know how to attract the customers by there feedbacks. this information is better to use in the business success because the chance of correction and customer satisfaction get increased here. so most of the company today's use this medium in a very large quantity. as this platform is very versatile in nature then the chances of precaution are more here .the company need to respond to any situation correctly . as here in dove case of racist Ad on facebook they instantly respond over it and put an apology statement when people criticise their actions. hence the response factor needs to be as fast as the feedback giving by the customers.
