Using social media has streamlined a process that was an elaborate process for the organization. It took great practice to find talent and there were many interview steps to help find candidates. Because social media has limited the contact with the applicant, do you feel these processes can help find the best candidates for the job? Interviews by Video Conferencing: This practice is adopted by many organizations now a days and inital communication by video conferencing through social media sites has helped time of both candidates and organizations, its helpful in analyzing personality, communication skills, interests, language skills, understanding of job responsibilities and if candidate looks suitable for position he is called for face to face interview. This is answer to this process can reduce posibility of hiring wrong candidate and company can select sound applicants.
Resume is short description of your academic record, work experience, other skills and your contact details, it shows your your academic strength and skill set and same is verified during job interview. It means resume does not help us to understand exact skills of candidates it has to be verified by interview panel during interview.

2) Profile verification by social media sites: Employers should use only those social media sites which has verified candidate profiles, sites can ask candidates to upload copies of relevent documents for verification.
3) Visible endorsements by experts in field: This can act as digital references for skills of candidates on social media profiles. Recruiters can also reach to these experts for their feedback if required.
4) Verification with previous employers: Previous employment history can also help to judge soundness of candidates, recruiters can verify performance of candates from these companies also.
5) Provision to report spams: There should be a provision to report spam profiles if any recruiter observed misleading information provided by candidate.
In conclusion,I would like to say that social media is just a medium of contact and initial interaction between jobseekers and recruiters. Candidate is called for an interview if HR feels that he is suitable for attending interview perticular position, details scrutiny of documents and verification of knowledge and skills is done by expert panel conducting interviews.
Hiring suitable candidate in interview is again a skill and companies mostly hire candidates skilled in job responsibilities they are hiring for rather than verification of overall skill set mentioned by candidate in resume.
Salary demand of candidate also matters sometimes you must be affordable to them !!!
