The Butchart Gardens is a group of floral display gardens in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada. It is located near Victoria on Vancouver Island. The garden receives over a million visitors each year and is a tourist attraction for the visitors from all over the world. The garden has been designated as a National Historic Site of Canada.

Prices range from about $18 to over $30 for adults depending on the time of year. In winter, when there are few flowers and lots of trees without their leaves, the prices that are being charged from the adults are least, and summer being the priciest season as all the plants and trees are covered with flowers.

The Butchart Gardens are open year-round. Each season brings its different flowers and charm. Peak season is July and August. There are large numbers of visitors between 11am and 3pm. Best time to go is early morning or late afternoon.

One should devote at least 4 hours to visit the gardens with additional time to enjoy the entertainment and firework display in the summer. This will give enough time to enjoy everything Butchart has to offer.
