(Enter your response rounded to one decimal place.) The MFE is nothing. (Enter your response rounded to one decimal place and include a minus sign if necessary.) The MAD is nothing. (Enter your response rounded to one decimal place.) The MAPE is nothing %. (Enter your response rounded to one decimal place.) Enter your answer in each of the answer boxes.

Solutions

Expert Solution

As per three period moving average method:

forecast of particular month=(sum of demand of previous three month)/3

So, forecast of April month=(123+74+114)/3=103.67

forecast of May month=(74+114+77)/3=88.33

similarly you can calculate for other months(image attached) and formula of MFE, MAD and MAPE also attached

Now

N=number of forecast calculated period

so, for April to December, N=9

MFE=(-24.33/9)=-2.7

MAD=(123/9)=13.7

MAPE=(122.77/9)=13.6

A geneticist discovers a new mutation in Drosophila melanogaster that causes the flies to shake and quiver. She calls this mutation spastic (sps) and determines that it is due to an autosomal recessive gene. She wants to determine if the gene encoding spastic is linked to the recessive gene for vestigial wings (vg). She crosses a fly homozygous for spastic and vestigial traits with a fly homozygous for the wild-type traits and then uses the resulting F1 females in a...
