ANSWER :-

Boreal forests are the forest are define as forests growing in high-latitude environment where freezing temperatures occurs for 6-8 months. In extreme of boreal forest, still full of life that's adapted to withstand frigid temperatures year around, such as caribou reindeer, or animals that can migrate long distance every winter. Full of deciduous trees and conifers, boreal forest covers vast expanses in Canada, Alaska, and Russia.

Woodland caribou or caribou reindeer is an emblematic species of the boreal forest. Caribou in such type of extreme environment forest survive and protect themselves from predators , such as wolves, by spreading out large areas of land.

In order to ensure that caribou habitat remains safe and abundant well into future, resolute is promoting forest management practices taht targets large tracts of land while leaving sufficient forest area to meet the caribou's habitat requirements.

In Canada, boreal caribou are declining in number, impart due to increased predators by wolves. One management option to reduce wolf-caribou interaction and thus protect caribou is to remove man-made linear features, structures such as roads, trails, and cut lines, which are used by wolves as travelling paths. Linear features increases wolf traveling speed and could additionally facilitate wolf entry in to caribou habitat.
