Interior designers are also responsible for showing system details in thier drawings, and electrical engineer should also aare of the interior design which is going to implement on the building.

The interior design drawing indicates all electrical outlets.the electrical switches, light fixtures and thier types, large equipments and all other electrical appliances. Inorder to show the communication system equipments like telephone and wifi , TV and cable points, computer interior designer should be aware of the electrical system. In new buildings the location and size of large equipments, electrical rooms, switches room and electrical closets shoulde be known by interior designer.

The designer should be aware of the size and location of electrical panel, with building system that will decide the type of wiring such as plenum mechanical system. The presence of uninterrupted power supply or standby power supply should be known. This is also important to know that they must know that the existing location and proposed location of receptacles, switches, and ground fault circuit interrupters. Light fixtures, equipments, appliances, switch boards, Distribution boards, ceiling light types, also affect the interior design. However the interior designer does not need to know about the electrical code requirement they should know the all electrical element size, lcation and type.
