There are several readings this week about disability culture. Please describe your understanding of disability culture and give an example.
Disability culture is the differences experienced by various disabilities and provide them a extra comfort compared to normal people. This providing not only help those disabilities but also make them feel depressed as they can't be normal as other kids when they don't understand their differences from and can easily get hurt. But without those special care, they can't lead a happy life as others. So it is necessary provide those extra care required and make them feel normal as others. These disabilities are not avoidable by any person as it doesn't depends on a particular person.
Disabled people feel happy when they are around their kind of people instead of normal people. So we should try to understand their feelings and act accordingly.
When a disabled is given extra care, they feel happy but not always. That is they feel happy when they also get someone to talk with or share their feeling with those who can understand them. They feel depressed when surrounded by normal people and get some extra care among them. Its not same for all of those in that category, only for those who lose those or became disabled in middle age or due to some accident.
