Mia's Muffin Final Case
The presentation should include a Recruitment and Selection system for Mia’s Muffins, with other supportive information. Its purpose is to make recommendations for a recruitment and selection system. Each student should demonstrate his/her ability to develop a staffing strategy, and an applied model, based on the nature of the employment relationship adopted by the organization. This project will also assess the student’s ability to differentiate between internal and external recruitment, and develop assessment methods, accordingly. Finally, the student will demonstrate the appropriate use of quantitative methods to assess job candidates in accordance with internal and external selection methods. Students should use at least five credible sources to support their recommendations and analyses.

Mia wants to know how you can tell if the new selection system is working. Specifically, what metric(s) would you use to evaluate the selection system? Provide a rationale for your choice.
Our new selection system will be based on online selection system. First of all, the eligible candidates will be asked to apply within a stipulated date and time. The application form will be available to only those who will be eligible as per our criteria and job requirements. I will send a report to our top management before designing the application form and before uploading the same at our job portals.
Our selection will be based at four core stages:
1) Online application
2) Preliminary test
3) Panel interview
4) Workshop for one day based on job requirements
5) Final offer and joining
6) Background check within legal scope
7) Feedback from each stakeholders including, candidates, interviewers, expert and staffs .
To evaluate the selection system the following metrics will be utilized:
1) Retention of candidate’s minimum 02 years.
2) Change in sales figure if sales guys will be hired.
3) Work environment
4) Workload on employees whether reduced or not
5) Productivity and efficiency
6) Absenteeism rate
7) Employee turnover
8) Innovative decision taken by new hires
9) Cost of selection per candidates against their contribution
10) Saving of CTC and time of work completion
