What skills and competencies are employers looking for in entry-level employees? Do you agree or disagree? Why is emotional intelligence being embraced by many employers? Do you have what the employers are looking for? If not, what is your plan to develop missing skills?

Following skill and competency are empolyers looking for an entry level empolyes

1.he should have good communication skills verbally and non verbally which make impression on customers as well as head of the department.

today we are living in computer age.so a empolyer must equipped with microsoft office skill

3.Empolyers must have prior experience and knowledge of the work that he going to do .Besides analytical skill, collobrative team work spirit, ability to easily comprehend probalem etc are vital skills and comptencies are looking for in entry level empolye.

Emotional intelligence are consist major components like self-awarness, self-regulate, empathy.many employers are not abled to check their emotion and unable to properly develop emotionally intelligence which lead them embarrassed.forexample, a employee doesn't have any empathy and self -,awarnes .so he generally not able to deal with customer as it requiered.so it embarrassed him.

Step:I don't have above skill and qualiities absolutely.so I should have developed the qualiities and skill.following plan can be framed

1.learn good communication skill and recieve training in microsoft.

2.make more stable emotionaly and properly develop emotional intelligence to deal effectively with customer.

3.to decelop confidence, free from egoism, collobrative, positive attitude , being focused and accountable.
