Do you agree or disagree with Eisenhower's quote: "What is important is seldom urgent and what is urgent is seldom important"? Explain why or why not.
How could the Eisenhower approach be helpful to you as a student or in your life in general?
I agree to this statement because , this statement has an excellent time management strategy. It motivates to distinguish the urgent from important,it emphasis on thinking whether that we consider urgent is really important and ,thus, helps to strategize our valuable time efficiently. According to this statement the things we consider urgent is often not important, the important things often do not require a hurry. This is true for example good sleep, healty food is important for a better and healthy life but they are not urgencies but on the other the rush in our life is caused by petty unimportant things as urgency to reply an unimportant mail, chats , urgency to gossip , urgency of multitasking etc.
As students this approach is helpful as it helps to distinguish between the important long term goals of education that are important but not urgent. Developing better individual learning strategies, achieving career and life goals through education, practising good health methods in daily life etc.are important for a student. Whereas,it is helpful in avoiding the practices that the valuable time of student life as an urgency to play a game on internet, urgency to spend time on social media, etc.
