For a midcareer HR person to get promoted one step above the current position, one has to highlight the experiences and competencies that are gained and contributions that are made and recognized during past working at the company.

Note: 1 & 2 are behavioral competencies; 3 & 4 are technical competencies; 5 & 6 is managerial/leadership experience; 7 for IT skills; 8 & 9 for commitment at work place and interest in HR field.
