What are your strategies for the development of behavioral competencies within the leadership domain? Provide supportive examples and information from your research.

The strategies that i will use for the development of Behavioral competencies within the leadership domain are that first i will analyze my strengths and weaknesses so that i can know what to focus on. For this i will do personal SWOT analysis in my leadership area like my strenghts as leader are good personality, strong communication skills but weakness like poor time management, takes time to open. Second strategy will be taking online leadership program courses which will help me to improve my understanding in relation to leadership, develope behavioral competencies so that i can be capable to lead others. There are some example of leadership program that i researched Course in Advancing Global Leadership by Center for Creative Leadership, Global leadership program by leadership exchange.
In order to get better and develop behavioral competencies at higher level, i will listen ted talks on leadership concept. In ted talks, people share their experience, knowledge which can be very helpful for me. I will also take training and coaching so that i can have practical knowledge to better my behavior competencies. for example- work under a HR exceutive or manager to experience how they handle their job, how they lead so many employees in thier organization.I will also do consulation with experts in leadership subject and take online personality tests like big 5 personality test to know my traits and leadership profile.
