Have you encountered a situation where a manager was resistant to change? Share your perspective regarding a decision where you or a co-worker presented an idea to a manager that was not implemented. How did the decision make you feel? Looking back, was the decision justified? Why or why not?
Yes there was a situation where the line manager refuses the idea presented by the team. In the idea there were some changes suggested to which the manager was not ok and he declined the idea.
My co works presented the idea of having a rotational shift in the office so that everybody should come at a different shift within a month and any kind of discrimination can be avoided on the basis of shift allotment. This was a superb idea to bring every employee in every kind of working shift based on the different time zone, so it should be implemented but the manager refused to it because as per him any changes will destroy the equilibrium of the team and work.
This was not good and we were not ok with the decision of the manager.
Long back it was required to bring the people in different time zone on the rotational basis so that customer can be served better and there is an employee satisfaction as well
