definin what you understand the term "ethics" to mean, and what it means to you to speak of "organizational ethics."
Ethics are principles over which entire working of a business
depends upon. Therefore, it is necessary for a business to maintain
its ethical values so that it provides others with an example to
follow.
It is a company’s role and responsibility to follow these ethics
but they have a legal right as well as a necessity to validate all
the information that a prospective candidate submits at the time of
the interview and they have to be sure that they are choosing a
person that has a good moral character and does not indulge in
illegal practices or abuse the freedom of social media. The
company, however, should limit their investigations to certain
areas on the internet and personal information and topics should be
left out of this, that way, they only take into account the
character of the person not what they do in their life. That has
nothing to do with the person that their company wants to work for
them.
"Organizational ethics" can be considered as the ethical framework which adheres to rules of moral principles while dealing or indulging in business dealings or business interaction in the professional life instead of the personal life. Business ethics can be divided into two elements, namely normative and descriptive. Normative elements refer to behavioral understanding like cultural or social like personal beliefs or social interactions upbringing of employees. Whereas descriptive elements refer to incorporating best practices for policies and procedures of the organization while maintaining ethical barriers. For example, creating the products which are safe, environmental protection, truthful about financial status or fair treatment of employees. Businesses are what runs a country. It provides employment, money, food, shelter and all the essential operations needed by people. In order to sustain a life. It is, therefore, the reason that mankind and business can essentially be called synonymous. People have a strong sense of morality and justice and it is especially true when we consider sidereal how businesses affect the lift of individuals around it. Society is, therefore, more interested in ethics in business today than it was before it is due to the reason that there is expansion in the world in regards to businesses and the capabilities it holds for the future.?
