Expert Solution

Latin American diet plan or pyramid mainly includes fruits and vegetables at the base, cereals and pulses after base and moderate portion of egg, poultry and dairy and least consumption of alcohol, fried items etc.

The Mediterranean diet pyramid is slightly different, that the base consists of mainly whole grains, pulses and cereals and oils like olive oil etc Just above this comes the fruits and vegetables.

The term diet is used to explain the quantity and types of food that are taken by an individual in his or her cultural background to meet the nutritional need of the body. We can have a confusion of this term diet when it comes to weight control. Actually the term diet implies balanced nutrition. When this balance is lost in the diet then it will leads to disease and disorders. So the people who want to loose weight and to have better health, they keep this balance in their diet.

We'll need some definitions, best practices, critical players, helpful technology (hardware/software, and, of course, specifics) for our role.
