what do you mean by the term ‘psychrometry’?
Psychrometry is a branch of engineering that studies the thermodynamical and physical properties of gases or vapours. A basic psychrometry is capable of measuring Dry Bulb temperature and wet bulb temperatures. We obtain different properties of vapours or gases by using psychrometry charts.
Psychrometry is a word derived from Greek.
Psuchron which means cold and
Metron which refers to the means of measurement.
As a whole, psychrometry means a means of measuring temperatures.
By using this means of measurement we measure all the required properties of a system. For example, weather report is done by using psychrometry.
