Arguments for death penalty -

1 - The moral and human right has been given up in case when one person kills the other. In such a case , he does not have the right to live after snatching the other right to live.

2 - The death penalty will reduce the rate of murders by creating the fear in minds of those who think to kill other because of some grudges.

3 - The punishment should fit the crime. This means that if a person has killed another person , he should also be killed

Arguments against death penalty -

1 - Death penalty finishes the scope of improvement in the life of person who does this act. Every person has a right to improve himself.

2 - The death penalty violates the constitutional right of equal protection . When we are killing , we are not protecting

3 - Crime cannot be controlled just by the capital punishments like death penalty. If one does so , the more can rise again.
