what are some possible reasons why marketing plans are not followed. State why you think so.
Possible reasons why marketing plans are not followed are as follows -
1) Uncertain changes in the external environment - If the external environment of an organisation is quite uncertain and changing rapidly, then it is evident that the firm will not be able to follow their marketing plans are they don't have any idea about the changes in the market.
2) The firm makes internal environment - In big companies, there are many levels and decisions based on the opinions of the various levels in hierarchical order. It takes time for them to make these decisions and which may affect the marketing plans.
3) Unclear communication in the organisation - If the communication policies of the firm are strict or there is a cultural barrier, then it may lead to affect the marketing plan.
