No this is not justified as the value of marketing research is very high in each and every field as it gives the consumer perception or the feed back regarding the product, hence on the basis of the marketing research the consumer acceptibility of the product can be enhanced. Even in the drug market it is the part of the phase 4 clinical trial named as post-marketting survilliance, for the study of the medication or the marketting research from the table of the physicain from the hospitals and from ultimate costomers regarding the any adverse effect if occurs, even after the marketization of the product in the global market.

example: in case of medicine during the market research if there is any report of ususual response of the medicine then it is taken in serious consideration. Thus the marketing reserch is very crucial part.

And hence sceptical of the value of marketing research is not justified.
