EXCEL plays a prominent role in today's job field.

we can do many things using Excel . Some of the basic things are

i)   calculating

ii) creating tables

iii) creating reports

iv) collecting and storing data

v) making spreadsheets    etc.

Not only the above mentioned but also we can do many things using excel

Some of the reasons why excel is most important in job market are

i) Its used for PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In many jobs, its necessary to do a project. Excel can be used in the project management . Though we have many different softwares for that, Excel is a trusted and reliable one.

Using Excel workbook we can save the plans of the project in it.

We can also use it for making schedule for the project.

Excel workbook can be easily shared to others whom we want to share with (i.e colleagues, head of the projects etc)

ii) Its used for Performance Monitoring

There is feature in the excel called PIVOT TABLE. We can use pivot table to convert the information into a report. There are many inbuilt functions in pivot table which will help to do all these.

we can use it for making a report on the performance of the employees or performance of the machines in the workplace. its easy to use and easy to understand

We can use Excel in many fields such as Education, Business, in Personal etc
