1. Create a fictitious child with a gender and an age.
Jose is a 2 ½ years old boy.
2. Explain the fictitious child's psychosocial development using one of Erkison's first two stages of development.
He is at the 2nd stage of Erikson’s eight stages. He has successfully completed his first stage. He has a very good parenting that supported and attended to his needs. So he has learned lots of trust because he moves freely with most of the people who he know and smiles at new people.
He doesn’t cry for anything now as he takes his toy plays with them, pick up a dress that he wants to wear and let the parents know when he needs something. He has learnt to be autonomous and exhibits lots of confidence when he is asked to do something in front of any visitors.
3. Describe the fictitious child in terms of an attachment pattern.
Jose exhibits secure attachment as he was completely taken care of his needs and he has a supportive environment. He freely moves around and is not afraid of strangers in the presence of the parents.
4. Describe the fictitious child in terms of a temperament pattern
Joe falls in the easy and flexible pattern in terms of temperament. He maintains a positive mood and quickly learns regular routines and adapts quickly to new things and calms down quickly.
