Below are data for the number of students in each of four age groups that are enrolled in several local schools:

Adolescents (9 - 12 yrs.)

Teens (13 - 18 yrs.)

Using SPSS, create a separate Pie Chart of the age groups for each school. Which school has the largest percentage of pre-adolescents? Then create of Bar Graph of the total count of students in each age group that are enrolled in local schools (including the local International School). Which age group represents the largest percentage of local students?

To plot graphs in SPSS

1.Open spss and enter the given data in to SPSS sheet

2.To construct Pie chart goto option GRAPHS placed on ribbon of spss then click on chart Builder one diloug box is open

3.Select chat type Pie/polar then drag slice by variable and Angle Variable (here slice by is age group and angle variable is changing for all pie i.e. various schools)

4.After this on the right hand of diloug box STATISTICS option is present select value for this

5.Then Apply And click Ok Output is on screen

* Now we want to construct bar diagram follow the same procedure as above only select chart type bar

Higher students are from 13-18 age group
