First Reason - In terms of embarrassment and publicity, the right to privacy may be viewed somewhat differently. It's awkward to be pushed into a cup to pee; it is treated like a farm animal. The right to privacy on this front is the promise that such private issues such as this do not interfere with anyone other than if we make this decision our own. Today, the other article, the presentation, is especially significant. In an electronic environment, personal details about us will end up anywhere at any time after they have been taped into a machine.
Second Reason - Lossing freedom – the right to seek one's happiness in the manner we choose as individuals. That privilege is obviously revoked the second time that our drug use damages the freedom of someone else by killing them in a car accident, but drug checks have until then been a violation of fundamental rights. According to this claim, the reason we're going to work and earn money in the world of economy is precisely to let us pursue our happiness as we want.
Ethically, the rationale of drug testing is based on the real reasons for companies seeking to exclude users from their labor force: drug workers may be less effective and make other people less effective. The key point is that companies have the right — and duty — to do everything in their power to build drug-free workplaces. This duty is fulfilled by examinations. Since they are a sensible means of improving job efficiency, reducing operational costs and ensuring the welfare of everybody, employers are responsible for their implementation.
