What cellular differences would you expect in cells found in the skeletal muscles compared to those found in the human capillaries and the fat found in the hypodermis?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer:

Tissues are a group of similar cells which performs similar functions, and are known to interact with each other. Humans have four different types of tissues namely; the epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscular tissue, and the nervous tissue.

The skeletal muscles present are a type of the muscular tissue. Whereas, the human blood capillaries are made of an epithelial tissue and the underlying hypodermal fat is an example of adipose tissue. The differences between them are as given below;

Skeletal muscle tissue

Epithelial tissue

Adipose connective tissue

Example: tongue, muscles of limbs

Example: skin cells

Example: blubber of whale, fats surrounding eye balls

Thus, these were the list of the differences between the different types of cells constituting the different tissues of our body.
