Solutions

Expert Solution

  • Laptop/ Computer processors have a mechanism to minimize the power consumption and also contain small fans that draw heat. These are well enough for the job, and so such processors don’t require the large heat sink and fan combinations.
  • Notebooks use Pointing sticks, Touchpads, buttons below the keyboard for mouse clicks and/or digitizer pads , instead of mouse.
  • The docking station in notebook systems provides functionality to use notebooks as a desktop. It includes special ports that connect to the back of the notebook and let us use normal-sized computer devices i.e. external mouse, keyboard, monitor, and speakers.
  • Some general inbuilt components of a notebook computer are:

1) Processor

2) Memory

3) Keyboards

4) Pointing devices

  • We can add devices to a notebook using any of the following interfaces i.e. Removable drive bays (Removable devices: CD/DVD, hard disk, batteries), USB ports, Firewire ports, ExpressCard card slots, Card readers

Hope it helps you.

Please provide a thurmsup if you find it helpful.
