Here are the training methods-

On the             Job Training- In this method of training training is given ion the job location practically. It is practical hence it is very effective but negative part is that it is little stressful as the new employees are at the job location without havi9ng any knowledge. It is not fit the fresher.

Lectures- In this method the trainer gives lecture as professors do in the classroom. There are material which is described by the trainer. It has all those aspects which practical knowledge cannot cover. For an example a truck driver is trained on the company policy of safety and security. Worst part is that thi method is quite boring. Employees do not have willingness to listen lectures.

Group Discussions & Tutorials- This is again a type of training method used by the several companies. Here the employees discuss on particular issues. In a group some employees are not so much talkative hence they are not able to express their thoughts.

Case Studies- In this method of training case studies are given to the employees related to the work,. They solve the case studies and able to get the knowledge about the work.

The good part is that it gives the practical knowledge to the employees but it is very time consuming.

Coaching/Mentoring- An experienced professional gives training to the employees. The training is given one-on-0one. The benefit is that the employees are able to learn from professional trainer and they can clear their doubts easily by interacting them.

Other methods- Films & Videos, Planned Reading, Outdoor Training, Management Games, Role Playing, Group Discussions & Tutorials etc.
