TRAINING METHODS
Few training methods which are used widely in organisation are as follows
Classroom Training method – this program is carried forward by a professional lecturer for one day or period in a place where employees must be present physically. It can be conducted within in the organization as well as outside.
Features of a classroom training are as follows –
· Should have enough employees enrolled in the training.
· There should be proper rules and regulations to be followed and stated objectives and expectations.
· Frequent assessments for employees to know how much they are grabbing the lessons.
· Employee engagement and frequent interaction.
· Employee should be able to understand what they are been taught and link it with the job (purposeful learning).
A feature which can make the class boring and difficult can be absence of Employee engagement and frequent interaction. If the trainer is not engaging with the employees, he will never get to know how much they are taking away from your class and what are their expectation.
Interactive Training – it is a method where an employee can learn from his own experience. For example, simulation, role play quiz etc. this help them to learn and apply in the business scenario as well as retain what ever they have learned.
Features of interacting training are as follows –
· Feedback is always there
· Autonomy is more and employees take this initiative
· They are problem based
A feature which can make the interactive training difficult can be employees not taking self-interest is participating.
On the job training method – this training not only help the employee to develop but get a chance to work on real activity which they might do now or in future. This can be little stressful, but they get to work on different job and develop skills.
Features of on the job training are as follows –

· Saves a lot of time
· Help you to get more flexibility

A feature which can make the on the job training difficult is when the employee is not able to manage the work been given and taught.
