The delay disorders problems may be developed during pregancy, premature birth or childbirth that can cause developmental delays Developmwnt delays also can be the symptoms of other medical conditions ;including( ASDs) autism spectrum disorders cerebal palsy, generic disorders - as down syndrome & Xsyndrome. There are many causes of d evelopmental delays such Mental retardation, Down syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Hydro cephalus ( water in the brain), Developmental coordinator disorder & Fetal Alcohol Syndrome .

The impact or delay disorders on speech & language :It is a type of communication disorder. Auditory processing disorder is a problem with decoding speech sounds,Speech &language disorders are the problems in communication and related to oral motor function. These delays & disorders range from simple sound substitutions to the inability to understand language or use the oral-motor mechanism for functional speech and feeding. The causes of speech &language disorders include hearing loss, neurological disorders, brain injury, mental retardation, drug abuse, physical impairments such as cleft lip or palate, vocal abuse or misuse.

A child's communication is noticed when the child i behind his or her peers in the acquisition of speech or language skills. A child will have greater receptive (understanding) than expressive (speaking) language skills, but this is not always considered

Speech disorders states difficulties in producing speech sounds or with voice quality. They may be characterized by an interruption in the flow of rhythm of speech, such as stuttering, --- called dysfluency. Speech disordersare problems with the way sounds are formed, called articulation or phonological disorders, or difficulties with the pitch, volume or quality of the voice. People with speech disorders have trouble using some speech sounds, which is also symptom of a delay. For example : They may say "see" when they mean "ski" or have trouble using other sounds like "l" or "r". Listeners have trouble in understanding .

A language disorder is an impairment in the ability to understand the use words in context, both verbally and nonverbally. Characteristics of language disordersmay be of, improper use of words &their meanings, inability to express ideas, inappropriate grammatical patterns, reduced vocabulary & inability to follow directions. Characteristics may develop in children who are affected by language learning disabilities or developmental language delay. Children may hear or see the words but are not able to understand its meaning. For others to understand what they are trying to communicate.

C part : Why I selected the area of study was  All serve to increase the way people learn about the world around them, utilize knowledge and skills, and interact with colleagues, family and friends. we for our self learn the other ways of communication to other people , even we develop communicating skills , the imagination power & the way they express their feeling to the other people.My way of thinking , imagination & communicating skills had grown up coniderably from normal teachers. A very fine example of a deaf & dumb child in aschool was -- The child wanted to communicate that today was a birthday of his class mate , he drew a picture of a boy with lots of ballons , eatables a big cake with candles & started clapping for him. this is a true instance , from this instance I got motivated to spent some mytime with these children.
