The study of gender is one of the vast theories that I am aware of and there innumerable scholars who have actually been interested in this field of study and made the topic interesting. I believe that gender theory has been defined differently by different theorists where some have stated the difference as a deformity while some have stated this is actually the work of science and is very normal. Being a part of this society I have witnessed a lot of differences and it has actually helped to get mature and decipher that the difference lies in our thinking and mentality and nothing more than that. Mere academic education is not enough to get rid of these practices because when it comes to gender there is a lot for speculations that may arise and individuals generally go with the flow in such cases.
The theories provided by the scholars are mostly relative and it also possess a bias towards a particular gender. So commenting on the accuracy if such theories may not be appropriate but there has been various instances which has proved that various theories do not comply. One thing is true that the patriarchal society has been involved and quite responsible for this but I believe that culture had been more important and it is the culture and our upbringing which actually gives us the lesson that we may carry and follow, so the lesson imoarted has to be authentic and free from bias towards a gender, that will make the process better and tell differencesshoukd actually be reduced. Personal experiences have varied where I have witnessed discrimination based on gender and also strict euqlity so it would be better if we do not generalise the whole society. As conveyed that it is better if try to change the mentality, thinking and the education that we receive because these things play a huge role in making the world a better place for both men and women.
