Based on the Five-Factor Model of Leadership (Digman, 1990), what are the leadership traits that your boss/manager exhibits?
The five-factor model of leadership states the –
- Openness stands to maintain the transparency, have lot of experiences, and remain creative.
- Conscientiousness stands for well-organized and self-disciplined.
- Extraversion stands for positive thoughts and remain social.
- Agreeableness stands for compassion, trust worthy and remain cooperative.
- Neuroticism stands for inclination to experience unpleasant emotions effortlessly.
My Managers pursue several
leadership traits which are inclined towards
“ Extraversion”, first one is determination which helps in the job
get done by taking initiatives and remain self-driven. He is
proactive which helps to work in challenging time. Another one is
the sociability which is inclined towards to maintain good
relationship among subordinates and peers. Apart from these he
showcases intelligence and self-confidence which helps to gain the
latest knowledge and ability to work in difficult situation, have
greater reasoning capabilities with strong verbal
communication.
