Would you describe the traits of the leadership of your organization as creative and innovative?
Explain why or why not.
The traits of the leadership of my organization are not creative or innovative. This is because although the organization has launched various new products, they have failed to take off in the market. This suggests a disconnect between market needs and the organization. The organization has failed to gauge the need correctly or has not developed the product which satisfies the needs of the customers. It also shows that capital is being deployed in the wrong products. This shows lack of creativity and innovation on part of marketers and designers to come up with products that can satisfy customer needs and which can beat competitors. The leadership has made strategic mistakes by not being in line with market needs. Also, operational costs are rising which means operational managers are failing to control and reduce costs through cost-saving measures such as kaizens, lean manufacturing etc. This stems from the leadership's inability to provide direction and encouraging different actions to encourage innovative products and services as well as meeting the financial objectives.
