The video ' Was America Founded to Be Secular?" emphasis that the US is founded on the one religion and Christian is the main religion of the newly formed state, as liberty came with moral demand and boundaries, moral that people are required comes with good virtue, liberty does not mean that one is free to do whatever he wants to do it demands moral to resist immoral acts the religion teaches moral, and to abide by the Christian religion and belief in God is essential. According to the video the constitution is made only for moral and religious people, science liberty and religion are inseparable in short the video by pageru.com suggest that America is founded on the basis of religion exclusively Christian New Testament and Old Testament.

When the United State has founded the constitution starts with "We the People" that gives a great significance that it not starting with the name God at all. Thus making the US original secular western nation, there is no state church or state nation. In the national anthem although there is mention of “Nature’s God" but it is kept very vague. It is largely a religious nation but other religions like Jews Buddhist Islam and atheist do exist.

Religious pluralism means the existence of two religion having similar belief but fundamentally different for example, Christian and Islam both the religions believe in onnes of God but fundamentally the difference in the path to reaching to God. Civil religion as can be seen in the US is keeping the hand over their heart or President ending his speech with the phrase "God bless America" this is the civil religion the elements of cultural and political life bonding the people of a nation together.

If we go into history it is noticed that Americans have not always welcome people from other religion, Irish migrants have faced the resistance from Protestant when they migrated during the Potato-Famine. German and Italians do face resistance although they were Catholic from protestant in the nineteenth century. Many slaves who brought to work on the farm were converted to Christianity. When the urbanization of American society took place late in the nineteenth-century people from various religion were thrown together into the cauldron of urban life, although they had many differences fundamentally. We have seen there was discrimination on skin color and ethnic discrimination like African American, Negros, and Indian American was very much present in the society
