Expert Solution

1. Extraversion-Having a low score on this trait would actually make me think carefully and then take a decision whereas if I am an extrovert I would be highly energized and might take decisions irrationally which could help the marketers as they could sell me a bad product too because then I would have the tendency to positive accept the product before and think about my buying decision later.

Agreeableness-Having a high score on this would make me trust people easily and this can be very easily used by the marketers in convincing me to buy the product as I would trust them easily and feel empathy towards them, that whatever they are selling me would be of good quality.

Conscientiousness-A low score on this trait would make me think less, and not care about things. I would not pay attention to details and just impulsively take the decision. Marketers can use this to their advantage and sell me a poor quality product quickly.

Neuroticism-If I am emotionally stable and dont worry too much even after marketers sell me a bad quality service then it works in their advantage.

Openness to experience-Trying out new things would make me highly experimental and I would try anything new that comes up in the market. I could buy a phone which has just been launched because I want to take that risk and I might not regret it also. Marketers can use this to their advantage and sell me all the new things launched by them.

2.Openness to experience,Extraversion and Conscientiousness could explain my clothing preferences being different from others. Being more experimental in trying out different outfits,Paying attention to how I need to look, wanting to flaunt my dressing sense and get appreciated by others and be the focus of attention all indicate these traits.

3. Conscientiousness could be the trait that reflects my perfume preferences as being high on this trait would make me think carefully about which fragance to use and pay attention to the importance of using good perfumes.
