Describe the following anatomical sections
1. Longitudinal in median, sagittal and frontal planes
2. Transverse at right angles to the longitudinal section
3. oblique at any other angles
(you can use diagrams for this question)
The anatomical sectional planes are usually the same in an adult and an embryo and fetus. The following points describe the different sections of planes:
Answer 1)
Answer 2) THE TRANSVERSE OR HORIZONTAL PLANE: It divides the body in the superior(top) and inferior (bottom) parts. It is perpendicular to median and frontal plane.
Answer 3) OBLIQUE SECTIONS : Obliques are basically the lie which is neither horizontal nor perpendicular. They are infact bit slanted and inclined at certain angle.
