Think back to a time when you were faced with a change in your professional or personal life that you were not looking forward to.

Using Lewin’s model as a guide, is there anything that occult have been done that might have at least better prepared you for it?

Once it took place, was it as bad as you anticipated it would be?

As always, keep it generic and appropriate, please!

answer-

I am kind of person who does not like changes in my personal or professional life because changes can disturbs the harmony of work i do in my life. in this discussion i would tell you about my past experience at my workplace where i work as Purchase executive involves in making purchase request to procure raw materials for production. one day, management decided that purchase department is overstaffed so they decided to transfer some employees to other departments like sales, production, accounts etc. one of the employee was as i was not accepting such big change that i was working in the purchase department and now i would work in different department with completely different roles and responsibilities.

In unfreezing stage, people resist the change so i also did resist the change because i do not want to change my work an roles. but management communicate with us that in new department that is Accounts and finance i would do good and there si growth opportunity for me.so stop resisting.

in Changing stage, the change happened when we transfer to finance and accounts department we get to know the work involves work on using tally, Sap like application. this where the occult happen because i already had diploma in use of such accounting application as back up when i was in college. so this made relived that atleast i would not do poor performance in this department.

in refreeze, i started to work in this department with this new change . i think this was not bad at all because i get experience in purchase now i get expeirence in finance and accounting which will improve my skills, knowledge and make my future bright.
