You are having an interpersonal conflict with a coworker concerning work scheduling. The coworker is new to the department and does not know that you have an agreement in place with the previous scheduler regarding your inability to work on weekends. Your new coworker has scheduled you to work one weekend per month. Your coworker was told by the Department Director, who is also new, to rotate all staff members through the weekend schedule.

I will chose an arrangement which includes the followings:-
1. Agreeable system. - This is termed as "delicate bartering"
approach. The level of contention is controlled with the help of
trust building and generosity. The mutual opinion and common
interest will be look after and it will ensure that everyone enjoys
the profit.
2. Aggressive technique. - This can be seen as a hard haggling in
which a person is not ready to compromise on anything and he wants
the entire thing in his favour. This approach is used when winning
is the only option irrespective of the loss of other
individuals.
3. Explanatory methodology. -This is an arrangement of critical
thinking of selecting those things which can benefit all. This is
also known as intrigue based dealing, or "principled
transaction.

I would have an arrangement that comprise of
First of all I would have y own suggestion or negotiation points
before initiating the process of negotiation and this can be put
further for the discussion. This step will require the adequate
planning and suitable inquiries with the help of disclosure method.
I will try to grasp that what are the areas of concerns for me. I
will make sure that the option under discussion should be practical
and should be based on mutual benefits. I will compromise only on
those points which will not impact me dearly. At last I will always
keep the master plan in mind which will indicate me the selection
of formal transaction.

I will try to have the win through systematic method as it provides
the points on which all the parties can gain something and it must
have some solid restrictions by manly concentrating on the
different standards rather than controlling it. This method can be
seen as one of the best as it will facilitate the "win-win"
arrangements in a wide assortment of contentions. By focusing on
truths, benchmarks, class, and common advantage, I will try to
influence the other parties to the negotiation.
