Answer:
Research topic:
“Analysis of various motivation factors that increases performance of employees in an organisation”
In the above research topic we are trying to learn the factors that act as motivators for the employees of the organisation and the impact of this motivation on the performance of an individual.
Outline:
In this research we will be studying various motivational theories such Maslow’s need hierarchy theory, Vroom’s expectancy theory, Herzberg’s two principle theory etc. In this research, we will be identifying the needs of the sample group and how, with the help of theories, these needs could be achieved will be understood. This research will also address the correlation between the need satisfaction and the corresponding enhancement in the performance of an employee.
Introduction:
Maslow’s needs model determines the needs of an individual at various stages of his entire life and vroom’s expectancy theory outlines the various expectations of an employee from his professional life. Performance of an employee is associated with the various factors associated with his personal and professional life. The needs of the individual can be satisfied by establishing a suitable mix from the personal and professional life. If any of the part (personal or professional) gets imbalance than the person becomes dissatisfied. Hence, it is the responsibility of the manager of an organisation to act as a mentor of the employee and assist them in establishing their personal and professional goals. Once these goals are established, an employee’s performance increases in an organisation.
Conclusion:
Conclusion of the research can be established through the result obtained from correlation analysis. Value of coefficient of correlation will define how the needs of an individual is associated with his performance.
