Assume you doing a research topic on how can state owned organisation be effectively managed explain in details how would you focus group interviews and projective methods for this research?. Explain which data collection method will be effective for this research?
As the term suggests, research is often conducted because the
problem is not yet fully defined or its true extent remains
unclear. This allows the researcher to be familiar with the problem
or concept to be studied and perhaps make hypotheses. This is the
first study before certain research is carried out. Research helps
determine the best research project, methods of data collection and
topic selection, and sometimes even the conclusion that the problem
does not exist!
Another common reason for doing research is to test ideas before
they are put on the market, which is always a very expensive
endeavor. When testing ideas, users get either written ideas or
prototypes for new products, services, or strategies redesigned or
redistributed.
Research can be informal, relying on secondary research, such as
review of literature and / or data, or qualitative approaches, such
as informal discussions with users, employees, managers, or
competitors, and more formal approaches through In-depth
interviews. The team focuses on project methods, case studies or
pilot studies.
Research studies are usually not useful for making decisions on
their own, but they can provide insight into a situation. Although
the results of qualitative research may provide some indication of
“why,” “how,” and “when” something is happening, it does not tell
us “how often” or “how much”. . In other words, the results can not
be summarized. They do not represent the entire population
studying.
