The qualities and attributes i would like to look for while evaluating a resume are as follows:

  • Growth and scalability in job history: While evaluating a resume, an HR manager should scan the resume thoroughly to look for the growth and scalability in the work history of the candidate.
  • Achievements: See the records of achievements and learning progress of the candidate in some specific areas which will also benefit your company and the candidate will prove a good resource for the company.
  • Cultural fit: Don't get impress only by the overly success described in the resume instead look whether the candidate is a good fit to your organization's culture or not.

Qualities and attributes should be considered during personal interview:

  • Communication Skills: The first and foremost skill that an organization look for in a candidate is good communication skills. So, a candidate should have great command over his or her communication skills.
  • Technical Competency: While conducting an interview, the hiring managers should ask the questions to the candidate about the skills related to the task he or she need to perform. It is important to check the technical competency of the candidate.
