  • Facial expression: Even the smallest reaction on the face can be considered as a non-verbal communication. They help people in communicating and also in sending messages.
  • Gestures: The movement of the hand, eyeball movement, waving, pointing fingers, can be considred as the gestures and they are very commonly used to communicate.
  • Paralinguistics: This refers to the sounds made during the normal communication. These noises can send messages and help in communicating.
  • Body Language: How a person behaves with another person and the posture one maintains while speaking to others can help in communicating.
  • Personal Space: How a person maintains his personal space also tells a lot about the person and how the others need to communicate with him.
  • Eye Gaze: How the people look at other people tells the behavior of the people and created an opportunity for the people to communicate.
  • Haptics: This is method uses the touch to communicate with others. The way people make use of this differs from one situation to the other but it is very commonly used non-verbal communication method.
  • Appearance: How a person is dressed and groomed tells a lot about the person and this can communicate the message to others.
