When we basically talk about definition of communication then it simply means the act of transferring information from one place, person or group to another.

and if we talk about non verbal communication them it covers the body language, gestures, how we dress or act, where we stand, and even our scent. There are many subtle ways that we communicate (perhaps even unintentionally) with others. For example, the tone of voice can give clues to mood or emotional state, whilst hand signals or gestures can add to a spoken message.

And if we talk about the non verbal communication in written or electronic communication then it basically depends on the context , suppose that we are sending an email or any ant text message to the other and if in includes emoticons then we can say that in that case non verbal communication is occuring here but if we talk in another context we can say that non verbal communication cannot occur upto full extent in written or electr
