If you are in a leadership role, what is your preferred style of leadership?
If you are not in a leadership role, what is the style of leadership you prefer to work under?
There are three styles of leadership which are commonly used by the leader in the decision making process.They Are...
1.Autocratic ( All decisions are taken by the leader Himself)
2.Democratic ( Decisions are taken by the leader with the consent of stakeholders/team members)
3. Laissez Faire ( in this style the Members of team are given adequate freedom to make decisions of their own and the leader provides them with adequate resources/knowledge needed to make such decision)
If i am in a Leadership Role( ie the one Who is leading others) then i would ever choose the democratic style of leadership. under this style of leadership the decision are taken by the leader with the involvement of all the stakeholders who may be affected by such decision. This not only boosts the confidence of Stakeholders in leader but rather also promotes creativity & innovation among the team members/stakeholders.
Whereas if i am not in leadership role then also i would prefer the Democratic STyle of leadership, because it would help the leader to take decisions by involving the team members and arriving at a correct decisions which otherwise the leader might not be able to take.Although Lazzie Faire is also good option but in my opinion it would give extra authority to team members and there are chances that the decision might go wrong.
