An effective leader is one, who is flexible enough to adapt to the changing scenario of business in his organization. A good leader is judged on 3 aspects: making profit, making growth and making loyalty employees. Jack Welch fared well in making profits and making growth of the organization. So Jack Welch can be considered an excellent leader on the profit aspects while on the human front, he was not that effective leader.
