What does organizational fit mean and how it can affect leadership success?
Every organization has got some sort of uniqueness into it. This uniqueness comes from the core value and the culture of the organization. If the person who is working in the organization or going to work in the organization has matching personal value and personality with the organization's value and culture then we say that the person meets the organizational fit criteria.
It is very important that the leadership in the organization has the same value system as the organization, however, it is not mandatory but if the value system is the same then it becomes easy for the leadership to establish the credibility and lead the organization with a significant amount of trust. If the leadership shares the same value system as the organization has then the decisions taken by the leadership are most likely to be accepted by most of the stakeholders of the organization and leadership gets the support from the stakeholders. This makes the path to success slightly less discomforting for the leaders and the probability of success increases significantly.
