A - A ssRNA virus with a + sense genome - To transcribe the + sense genome, Viral genome encodes for RNA dependent RNA polymerase. First, this enzyme make the -  sense RNA, then using - sense as a template makes the copies of + sense genome.

B - A ssRNA virus with a - sense genome - To transcribe the - sense genome, Viral genome encodes for RNA dependent RNA polymerase. First, this enzyme makes the mRNA using the - sense as a template and then using mRNA as template it makes copies of its genome.
