DNA is in principle a molecule for processing. It includes here all instructions an organism needs to maintain it's own. Such rules are identified inside genes that are sequences of Dna consisting of specific nucleotide sequences. To be implemented, the codes stored within genes should be conveyed or replicated in such a manner that cells could use to generate the proteins necessary to sustain life.A gene contains and processes the instructions stored inside DNA in following stages: the transcription and the translation. Both of these stages is a different molecular process involving several molecules. A portion of the cell's DNA act as a template for formation of a Messenger rna throughout transcription.
The newly formed RNA molecule is itself, in certain ways, a final output, and plays an important role inside the cell. In most other situations the RNA molecule contains for processing signals from the DNA to many other parts of the cell. Such knowledge is most commonly seen in processing proteins. A particular type of RNA which carries the data dna molecule to other areas of a cell is callemessenger RNA, or mRNA.
